Paints

Calcium carbonate is one of the main additives in the paints, coatings, adhesives and inks market.

  • ÁridosThe addition of calcium carbonate to powder paints provides both matt and glossy finishes. This results in improved covering, whiteness and stability properties. As well as obtaining a higher covering power, it gives a high gloss, and our calcium carbonate is notable for its low absorption in oil and easy dispersion, making it resistant to external agents.
  • ÁridosThe fineness and grain size distribution of the particles affect the opacity of the coatings as well as improving the surface treatment, which makes the particles water-repellent and therefore increases compatibility and facilitates dispersion.
